City Church even has it written down as a value: Next Generation. We Pass the Baton. Somebody read that, looked at Leah, and said "yep, her." And she has been doing exactly that, three services every Sunday, with a MacBook in one hand and a bin in the other.

Happy birthday! Lucas has spent a lot of Saturday nights at Collège Notre-Dame with you, rolling in bins, setting up classrooms, and getting home in time for Noah's bedtime, because you run the tightest 30-minute setup in the city. None of us would trade a single one of those nights, because we know what they turn into on Sunday morning.

What you do isn't just check-in tables and lesson plans. From the toddlers to M514, you carry the baton for the whole next generation of this church, and you make it look fun. You show up with more energy than the entire room of kids combined, you make every volunteer feel like they matter, and you lead in a way that makes people want to follow. The kids at City Church are lucky to have you. So are the grown-ups. So are we.

Thank you for being a great leader, a great friend, and the reason Sunday mornings look the way they do. We hope this year is as full of joy as you make everyone else's.
